As the Broncos crawled out from under the carnage of the stunning 15-12 home loss to the Oakland Raiders, the offense remains under scrutiny.
Denver failed to produce an offensive touchdown against the Raiders in two games this season. It provides a snapshot of a bigger picture problem. Denver has gone 23 consecutive possessions without an offensive touchdown. The Broncos continue to experience issues inside their opponent's 20-yard line. The Broncos' touchdown efficiency in the red zone — 16 for 36 — ranks tied for 28th in the NFL. In the loss to the Raiders, Denver went 0-for-3, swings and misses that left them with no margin for error in the upset.
