Brandon Perna from That’s Good Sports did a great job of breaking down the many ways the Denver Broncos were screwed by the referees on a great number of poor calls and non-calls, but also how they screwed themselves through just poor play all around.
The Broncos ended up with 13 penalties for 120 yards against the Baltimore Ravens, with most of them being called at the worst possible moments. It’s pretty much impossible to overcome that in the NFL.
