The board just didn't fall the right way for many of Colorado's top local prospects. None were selected in the first three rounds of the NFL draft, but many still are hoping to hear their names called on Day 3.
Former Colorado State star receiver Rashard Higgins is expected to be the top local prospect selected. He likely will go sooner rather than later in the fourth or fifth round Saturday.
Higgins is CSU's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
"They don't have to believe in me, man," Higgins said last month.
