LOS ANGELES — Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams have always been a fairly resilient bunch that manage to rebound from setbacks with renewed passion and no lack of faith in their fundamental principles.
They’ll need that resilience after opening NFC West play with a thrashing that opened questions about whether the Rams are as good as their 4-2 record.
Los Angeles lost 24-16 to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in a game that never felt as close as the score.
“You wake up with a pit in your stomach, and the only way I know how to get rid of that thing is just to work a little bit better,” McVay said Monday night.
