The Raiders appear to have finally found a home for the 2019 season, and they won’t have to hit the road to get there. The team, set to move to Las Vegas as soon as a new stadium is built, will reportedly remain in Oakland for the upcoming season and could be there for 2020 as well.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Raiders and the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Authority were “ironing out final nuances and details” of a deal Monday to keep the team in the stadium where they have played since 1966, apart from 13 seasons spent in Los Angeles.
