The Broncos continued their active but decidedly non-flashy free agency run Tuesday by adding a veteran punter to the roster in Riley Dixon, the franchise announced Tuesday.
Dixon is a familiar face, too, considering the 29-year-old began his career in Denver in 2016-17 before spending four seasons with the New York Giants and then 2022 with the Los Angeles Rams.
Denver originally drafted Dixon in the seventh round of the 2016 draft and he proceeded to handle the franchise’s punting duties for two seasons, averaging 45.7 yards per punt and 41.3 net yards per attempt. Then Denver traded him to the Giants in the spring of 2018.
