DENVER -- With a fifth consecutive playoff appearance clinched, the Broncos (11-4) can turn their attention to winning the AFC West -- and home-field advantage to go with it.
A Broncos win over the Chargers next Sunday will give them a franchise-record fifth consecutive division title, which would surpass the number of division titles they won in the previous 20 years (four: 1991, 1996, 1998 and 2005). It would also give them at least the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.
If the Chargers upset the Broncos, Denver could drop all the way to the No.
