Phillip Lindsay done for the year with serious wrist injury

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Phillip Lindsay’s wrist injury appears to be a possible scaphoid fracture with ligament damage. That’s about as serious a wrist injury as it gets and Lindsay will face a lengthy recovery time.

Mike Klis also reported that Lindsay will be getting a second opinion later in the week, but the MRI exam did show ligament damage with further tests needed to confirm the scaphoid fracture. A scaphoid fracture is a break in the scaphoid bone in the wrist and depending on the severity could have recovery times of between from six weeks to 24 weeks.
