As part of the Taste of the Broncos fund-raising event on June 16 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Peyton Manning and some of his Broncos teammates will go head-to-head in a fight song conducting battle, with each out to prove his school’s song is best.
Manning will, of course, lead the Colorado Symphony in Tennessee’s “Rocky Top,” the fight song for Tennessee. But he’ll face competition from Von Miller (Texas A&M), David Bruton (Notre Dame), Chris Harris (Kansas) and Montee Ball (Wisconsin-Madison).
It’s worth noting that Manning is no conducting amateur; he did it a number of times while at Tennessee.
