Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning participated in team practice for a second consecutive day Thursday in the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse, not showing any setbacks with the torn plantar fascia in his left foot.
During the brief media viewing period, Manning went through similar drills as he did Wednesday, dropping back, throwing passes, working on his footwork. Coach Gary Kubiak said Manning will not be active Sunday at Pittsburgh, and declined to address who will start when the Broncos host the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 28. Brock Osweiler took over for Manning when he was first injured, and has posted a 3-1 record, suffering his lone defeat at Oakland last Sunday.
