Quarterback Peyton Manning’s great week of practice continued Friday in the Broncos’ last one before Super Bowl 50.
Manning only threw one incompletion against the Broncos’ scout team defense Friday, according to Pro Football Writers Association pool reporter Peter King. This follows Thursday where Manning only had four of his passes hit the ground.
The highlight of the practice came when Manning connected on a deep pass to receiver Demaryius Thomas during one session.
It is important to note that the performance came against the Broncos’ scout team rather than the 1985 Bears, but to see Manning at a high level is still a good sign.
