Peyton Manning walked a well worn path to Dr. Robert Anderson's office in Charlotte, N.C., on Monday, following in brother Eli's footsteps.
Anderson treated Eli Manning for plantar fascia in 2009, providing a plan that kept the New York Giants quarterback on the field. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, 39, sought a second opinion this week from Anderson, the most well-known foot and ankle doctor in sports. Manning continues to deal with an injury more serious than Eli's, torn plantar fascia in his left foot.
Manning, who also has a ribcage injury, is unlikely to practice this week.
