Monday was a day Peyton Manning was celebrated in front of former teammates, coaches, family, friends and the rest of the world.
About 18 minutes into his retirement news conference, he was asked about sexual abuse allegations from his time at the University of Tennessee that resurfaced after the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 victory.
Manning briefly paused, appearing slightly irritated by the question then responded.
"It is sad that some people don't understand the truth and the facts," Manning said. "I did not do what has been alleged and I'm not interested in re-litigating something that happened when I was 19 years old.
