Add yet another record to Peyton Manning’s illustrious career.
In Sunday’s win against the Raiders, the Broncos quarterback took the NFL’s No. 1 spot in combined regular season and playoff passing yards with 77,725. He surpassed Brett Favre’s mark of 77,693. Former Miami great Dan Marino is third with 65,871.
Manning completed a 17-yard pass to Demaryius Thomas in the third quarter to break the record.
In terms of the regular-season record, Manning (70,925) is still No. 2 behind Favre (71,838). In the playoffs, he (6,800) is behind New England’s Tom Brady (7,345) for the top spot.
