The Broncos hope to ease Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib back onto the field this week after a near two-month recovery.
Talib, who has been on the non-football injury list, suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg while in Dallas in early June. He missed the latter half of the Broncos’ organized team activities and has observed training camp practices from the sideline. Since coming off crutches, he has worked with the team’s training staff away from the field to maintain his strength and conditioning.
Any return would be in a limited capacity to start and would be dependent on a passed physical.
