Good morning, Broncos Country.
Star cornerback Patrick Surtain II has locked down every receiver he has went up against this season. In Week 1, he held DK Metcalf to three receptions for 29 yards. In Week 2, George Pickens had just 2 receptions for 29 yards. Last week, he held future Hall of Famer Mike Evans to only allowed one catch for 8 yards.
PS2’s penchant for shutting down the opposition week in and week out is why he is the best cornerback in the National Football League. If the Denver Broncos are going to be victorious in Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets, Surtain will have to keep his streak of dominance going.
