The Carolina Panthers appear to have a potential outbreak of COVID-19 to contend with as they emerge from their Bye Week. They have opted to close down their facilities until Wednesday after two more positive tests came through over their weekend.
Last week, they placed defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos and defensive lineman Bruce Hector on the COVID-19 reserve list, so there will be two more joining them. Given the close proximity of the positives, this could indicate an outbreak so the decision to close things down could be an important one in terms of keeping the scheduled game in place.
