SUNNYVALE, Calif. — He is forgotten by his team, its town and time.
Just more than 5 miles from the Broncos' headquarters, and a 12-minute drive to Levi's Stadium, silently and sadly sits the man responsible for forming, fashioning and fostering the franchise that first became a winner and, finally, would play in the Super Bowl.
He won't attend Super Bowl 50. He probably won't even watch the game on the TV in his room. He won't be honored by the Broncos this week. He won't be recognized for his achievements by the NFL and probably won't be mentioned once during the worldwide broadcast.
