Last month, Broncos safety and kick returner Omar Bolden announced his “Positive Living Award,” a chance for him to honor fans who have “made a difference in the world through the attitude, their work and outreach to others.”
The acknowledgement has personal meaning to Bolden, whose injury in 2011 while at Arizona State changed his approach to football and life.
“Positive Living” isn’t simply a message; it’s a lifestyle for Bolden. And on Wednesday, he announced the first of six winners who he felt shared the lifestyle.
