Maybe not for Peat’s sake, but for the Broncos, they wouldn’t mind if the former Stanford All American falls in the draft.
Andrus Peat, considered anywhere from the best to a top-five offensive tackle in this year’s draft that begins April 30, is visiting Wednesday with the Broncos.
Entering the draft after his true junior season at Stanford, it would not be a surprise if Peat is the top offensive tackle on the Broncos’ board. Problem is, they don’t get to use that board until they’re on the clock with the No. 28 overall pick. Unless, of course, they dangle their second or third-round draft picks to trade up.
