After two joint practice sessions, the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears will face off in each team’s second preseason game of 2018.
The Broncos first-team will play 1-1.5 quarters against the Bears, which will give us a good look at the changes the team has gone through heading into this season. After that, it will be the Chad Kelly show. He was promoted to the second-string quarterback after a terrible outing from Paxton Lynch. Kelly will get a chance to solidify his hold on that backup spot.
As for Lynch, he needs to have the kind of performance Kelly had last week to keep his name in the mix and attempt to fight back into that backup quarterback spot.
