After a seven-month investigation the NFL announced Monday it found “no credible evidence Peyton Manning was provided with or used human-growth hormone or other substances banned by the league.”
The league said both Peyton and his wife, Ashley, were fully cooperative with the investigation and provided h interviews and access to all records sought by the investigators.
The investigation was led by the league’s security and legal teams with help from consultants, and involved witness interviews, a review of records and other materials, as well as online research and laboratory analysis.
In a December 2015 documentary by al Jazeera, Manning was alleged to have received shipments of HGH to his house under his wife’s name.
