ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- As Nathaniel Hackett puts the finishing touches on his first coaching staff with the Denver Broncos it's abundantly clear his mission was to inject more than a little youth, some lessons he learned from his father and to create a rather extreme makeover.
How successful that mission is will play out in the games to come. Hackett has already talked about the important role his staff would play in managing his time as a first-time head coach and that he wanted to ramp up the enthusiasm around the organization.
"I think it's about being able to budget your time -- understand what you need to get done so you have the ability to be great on game day, because in the end that's the most important thing," Hackett said.
