One thing that was noticed on Saturday during the Denver Broncos rough 42-15 preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills was how deep into the game tight end Albert Okwuegbunam played. He started the game and continued to play deep into the fourth quarter.
When asked about this, Broncos’ head coach Nathaniel Hackett noted that Albert O is a guy that ‘needs some reps’ and was pleased with his overall performance in that game.
“There are guys that some have played a little more football than others,” Hackett said after the game. “But Albert’s [Okwuegbunam] a guy who needs some reps.
