FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Running back Montee Ball has been getting ready for his 2015 NFL debut since he was cut by the Broncos in early September.
Now, the former Wisconsin star is in New England, where his season debut could come Sunday.
He has been trying to stay busy, but it hasn't been easy despite doing just about everything else.
"Running, lifting, eating well and all that stuff," Ball, 25, said Thursday. "Just the normal stuff, nothing too crazy. But staying on top of my phone, which is the phone calls, and going through tryouts and just staying at it.
