MADISON, Wis. — Former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball is in more legal trouble.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Dane County prosecutors charged Ball on Thursday with strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct.
According to a complaint, one of Ball's former girlfriends alleges Ball hit her with his phone during a June 2014 argument in a Madison hotel. She said he grabbed her by the throat and threw her out of the room. The woman added Ball grabbed her neck and pushed her down a week earlier.
Ball's attorney denies the allegations.
Ball, a former Wisconsin player, already faces two misdemeanor counts in connection with another domestic abuse incident involving a different woman last month.
