Mile High Stadium is adding Wi-Fi for all fans — not just Verizon users

Posting an Instagram from Mile High Stadium is about to get a whole lot easier for lots of fans.

Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium is rolling out new Wi-Fi that will be open to all fans — not just Verizon Wireless customers, as is the case now — that should be fully operational by the time the Denver Broncos play their first home game against Green Bay during week three of the preseason. (The official schedule won’t be announced until next week.)

The total Wi-Fi project will cost around $6 million dollars, Broncos director of facilities Zach Myhra said Wednesday during the regular Metropolitan Football Stadium District board of directors meeting.
