Max Borghi is headed to Indianapolis.
The former Pomona High School and Washington State star went undrafted this weekend, but signed a free agent contract with the Colts on Saturday.
Borghi, the 2017 winner of The Denver Post Gold Helmet Award as the state’s top football player, had 369 carries for 2,158 yards to pair with 156 catches for 1,134 yards over an accomplished career at Washington State. He finished his career tied for the Cougars’ all-time touchdown record at 41.
Entering this weekend, Borghi said he felt like he was “one of the biggest sleepers in this draft.
