The revival of the Broncos' defense collided with the reality of a short week on Tuesday. Denver mauled the Baltimore Ravens, holding them to 173 yards and two third-down conversions in 13 attempts. The brutish effort came with a toll.
Free safety Darian Stewart sustained a groin injury on the snap before his game-sealing interception, a play during which strong safety David Bruton injured his hip. Defensive end Malik Jackson exited in the third quarter, and was evaluated for a concussion. He was not diagnosed with a concussion, though, and was cleared Monday.
All are expected to play.
