On Sunday, the Denver Broncos ground out a win on the road against the Jets, 10-9. In contrast to last week’s high-scoring offense-led game against the Buccaneers, this game was everything but that. A disappointing first half yielded more negative passing yards than points. The second half was more about defense and missed field goals than anything else.
Coming into the 2024 season, most Broncos fans would say that winning now wasn’t as important as setting the stage for long-term success with Bo Nix. This was one of those development games. The kind of game that builds character in a young quarterback.
