ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Casey Kreiter has got one job for the Denver Broncos, and if he isn’t able to do it Sunday against Kansas City, the Broncos will have to make some adjustments.
Kreiter is the Broncos' long snapper and missed most of Wednesday’s practice and all of the team’s Thanksgiving Day practice with a calf injury.
"Got a little calf issue in practice (Wednesday)," said Broncos coach Gary Kubiak after Thursday's practice. "So we rested him (Thursday), it will be a day-to-day process, we’ll see where he is (Friday)."
After three years of trying to make an NFL roster, Kreiter essentially won the job for the Broncos in July when the Broncos released long-snapper Nathan Theus just before training camp opened.
