Broncos offensive line coach Mike Munchak’s newest project stands 6-foot-8 with arms darn near as long as javelins, lost more than 50 pounds during his college career and played left tackle at the Football Championship Subdivision level.
And Munchak was a big reason why Central Arkansas’ Hunter Watts chose the Broncos a few hours after last month’s draft.
“I’ve heard a lot of great things about him and I know there are a lot of veterans, former draft picks and all types of guys that I can learn from,” Watts said in a phone interview from his home in San Antonio.
