Kyle Williams carted off with leg injury on Day 2 of Broncos camp

While attempting to scoop up the football in punt-return drills, Broncos receiver Kyle Williams went down awkwardly grasping his leg in the early part of the team's second day of training camp.

After being tended to by trainers for several minutes, Williams was carted off the field, crying with his hands covering his face.

Williams was in the mix for the punt-returner job with Jordan Norwood, Solomon Patton, Isaiah Burse and Emmanuel Sanders.

Williams, 5-foot-10, 186 pounds, is a six-year veteran out of Arizona State. He has battled knee injuries in the past.

The injury quickly dampened the mood at the Broncos' practice facility on Day 2 of camp.
