Kubiak says Manning (foot) had 'good workout'

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who has not played since Nov. 15, finished up what Broncos coach Gary Kubiak called a "really good week'' of work with a Saturday morning throwing sessions with the team's strength and conditioning staff.

Manning, who has a tear in the plantar fascia near his left heel, had returned to practice for two days leading up to last weekend's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but had experienced soreness in the foot and the Broncos held him out of practice the Friday before their loss in Pittsburgh as well as this week.
