Kiszla: Stop the silly “Star-Spangled Banner” fight at NFL games and crank up the AC/DC

If the NFL wanted an anthem to truly represent the head-banging violence of the sport America loves best, it would immediately cease playing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before kickoff and instead have the crowd stand and sing something more appropriate, such as “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.

The silent protest against the national anthem has pitted San Francisco backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick and the Broncos’ Brandon Marshall against self-aggrandizing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and swimsuit model Kate Upton in a war of words refereed by Denver Police Chief Robert White.

Seems like a lot of fuss for a song that’s too hard for 98 percent of Americans to sing, doesn’t it?
