A line in the sand has been drawn, and as Broncos president Joe Ellis sees it, there are now only two reasonable choices to resolve the Bowlen family spat over control of an NFL team beloved in Denver as a civic treasure.
The Broncos will be put up for sale, unless the six siblings of Brittany Bowlen make peace and accept she should be the one to take over the family business from her late father.
“I’m pretty confident, pretty sure that’s going to absolutely have to happen for (the Bowlen children) to be able to keep this team in their family,” Ellis told me Monday.
