Defensive end Kenny Anunike spent the Broncos’ offseason program on the sidelines, continuing his recovery from a knee injury that landed him on the injured reserve list late last season.
But Anunike, who could have a greater role on the team’s defensive line following the departure of Malik Jackson in free agency, told The Denver Post that he’s “feeling great” and expects to be back on the field by the start of training camp in late July.
“Oh yeah, of course, of course. I cannot wait,” he said. “I’m on track and working with Greek (Broncos head athletic trainer Steve Antonopulos) and those guys every day at the facility.
