The rehabilitation of Kareem Hunt’s NFL career officially began Wednesday, when the running back spoke of the problems with violence that led to him being cut by the Kansas City Chiefs.
The video of a violent incident involving a woman was horrifying, but his talent as a running back so unquestioned that it was no surprise when he was signed by the Browns in early February, a little over two months after being released by the Chiefs. He was signed despite being unavailable for the first eight games of the season as he serves a suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy because of two incidents he chalks up to poor decision-making.
