Kanye West was not kidding around about wanting to arrange a sit-down between Colin Kaepernick and President Donald Trump. Having discussed the idea in a televised interview earlier in the week, he returned to it Wednesday on Twitter.
Telling his 28.5 million followers that he was “reaching out” to Kaepernick, the superstar rapper addressed the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback directly.
“I would like you to speak with the president to tell him your experience directly,” West tweeted. “Let’s have a dialogue not a diatribe.”
As of Wednesday evening, Kaepernick had yet to reply, at least to the tweet or in any other public manner.
