Good morning, Broncos Country.
After the first two days of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos weren’t able to address a glaring need on their defensive line. Most all of the top prospects were gone and when Day 3 came around—even more prospects began to come off the board quickly.
But George Paton and the Broncos coaching staff were able to pull a rabbit out of there hat and find themselves an instant starter via trade. Thankfully, they acquired veteran defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers to bolster a unit that struggled mightily last season.
