John Elway has his sights on the U.S. Senior Open.
But first, the Broncos general manager and executive vice president will attempt to qualify for the event when he tees off at 10:10 a.m. May 28 at The Broadmoor East Course in Colorado Springs. The top two finishers will advance to the U.S. Senior Open, which takes place June 27 to July 1 at the golf course.
It isn’t the only tournament Elway has that week. He will play in the low-amateur category at the 19th annual CoBank Colorado Senior Open on May 30-31, where he finished second in 2014 and 2016.
