Broncos general manager John Elway shot a 3-over-par 75 to advance to the final round of the Colorado Senior Open on Thursday. Elway was one of 57 people to advance to the final round, where players will compete for a share of the $50,000 purse. The final round begins Friday at 8:20 a.m.
Elway is tied for 23rd overall and is third in the amateur category. Those behind him are tied for 34th and 50th at +4 and +5 respectively. Elway moved on by just two strokes. John Ross of Raleigh, N.C. leads overall at eight strokes under par.
