John Bowlen, son of Broncos owner, arrested on suspicion of DUI in California

The California Highway Patrol arrested John Bowlen on two counts of DUI Sunday afternoon, authorities say.

Bowlen, 31, the son of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, was pulled over by troopers in the Paso Robles area at 2:17 p.m., according to a clerk at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

He was booked into the jail at 4:45 p.m. on one misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a drug or alcohol and one count of having a reading of more than the California limit of .08 percent of alcohol in his blood.

When asked what his occupation was, “he refused to divulge that information to the officers,” the clerk said.
