Quarterback Joe Flacco was speaking for his entire locker room, all of his coaches and likely every Broncos fan Wednesday afternoon before practice.
“It’s about time,” he said of Monday’s season opener at Oakland. “It’s nice to get back into a normal week and start game planning and (doing) stuff that really matters. It’s always a lot more fun.”
A positive for the Broncos for those who believe in such statistics: Flacco in season openers is usually a lot of fun.
Flacco was 8-3 in Week 1 for the Baltimore Ravens, throwing 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
