ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos continue to wield significant influence inside the most elite corridors of league power, as President/CEO Joe Ellis and Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway were added to major NFL committees this week.
Elway's growing list of accomplishments in five-plus years as an executive now includes membership in the most influential group for establishing the rules of the sport: the Competition Committee. Elway was named to the committee this week, becoming one of three new members of the prestigious group that is tasked with creating and modifying rules proposals before they are brought to the owners for voting.
