The Denver Broncos have had quite a few tough injuries to deal with during the 2017 season, and one they had to deal with very early on was the loss of Jared Crick to a back injury.
Crick, a projected starter at right defensive end, had back surgery in September, ending his 2017 season and unfortunately for him, his contract year with the Broncos.
Formerly of the Houston Texans, Crick was brought in for his familiarity with Wade Phillips and defensive line coach Bill Kollar, and he had a decent 2016 season as a rusher but wasn’t great against the run.
