The Denver Broncos used the bye week to relax, have some fun, get away, and get healthy. For rookie tight end Jake Butt, getting healthy has been essentially his job since he was drafted this past Spring.
Since Butt was drafted, the Broncos have had a long-term plan in place for him, one that included at least a six week period at the start of the season where he would have to be on the non-football injury list. We wrote about exactly what that would mean for Butt’s timeline to return to action last week.
As the Broncos returned to work on Monday, head coach Vance Joseph updated everyone on the status of Butt, stating that he will be practicing next Monday:
“Jake Butt is doing great.
