A post from Justin Melo from The Draft Network broke down the Denver Broncos wide receiver situation and came to the conclusion that second-year wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. is a strong breakout candidate this season.
Some of the key reasons for this that Melo laid out were:
- Jerry Jeudy’s departure leaves a convenient void for Mims to fill.
- Mims averaged over 17 yards per catch. No other Bronco was within 2 yards of that mark.
- Quarterbacks had a 105.9 rating when targeting Mims.
- He averages 26.
