Early reactions have been lukewarm on the Broncos agreeing to a trade for Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. But former Broncos running back and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Davis thinks it’s a good move.
“Absolutely he is an upgrade over Case Keenum,” Davis said Saturday on the NFL Network. “Joe Flacco is a Super Bowl-winning quarterback, he’s got leadership, he still has a big arm.”
Davis pointed to Flacco’s first four games of the 2018 season, when the quarterback completed 64.3 percent of his passes and averaged 313 yards passing, totaling eight touchdowns with just two interceptions and a 96.
