ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- DE Kenny Anunike was the only player on the 53-man roster or practice squad not on the practice field as the Broncos celebrated Labor Day by -- what else? -- working.
Anunike is recovering from an Aug. 20 knee scope and has not practiced since then. Head Coach Gary Kubiak said Saturday that the second-year defensive end is "day-to-day."
OLB Lerentee McCray had his helmet on and practiced Monday. He saw some individual work last week, but has been held out of full work since injuring his groin early in training camp.
